The first thing that caught my eye was this Colour Lip-Stix in the shade 'Coral Kiss', Retailing at £5. After falling head over heels in love with Orange Lips after purchasing Calvin Klein's Orange Too (Blog Post here). The craving for a more orangey orange started to build up in me and this has certainly satisfied that. These are new out by models own and in-keeping with the Lip-Crayon theme that has been seen from the start of the year. On swatching it its nowhere near as glossy as other lip Crayons (Bourjois Colour Boost or Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker) But perfect for those who (like me) tend to shy away from anything too glossy. The only thing I would note is that it does have a very strong scene of what I associate as scented panty liner.. but my mum informed me, was definitely peach! So that's worth baring in mind if you don't like overly scented products.. It is described as being:
Deeply nourishing and ultra soothing, Lip-Stix impart intense colour for draw-dropping lips in seconds - line, define and colour all in one swipe to create a precision pout, quickly and easily. Super smooth, lips are immediately infused with moisture, giving a gorgeous, long-lasting satin finish.
An essential that I needed to pick up was a new brown Kohl Eyeliner, which I picked up in the shade Chestnut, a lovely dark brown retailing at £4. Not much else to say about this, but it does come with a smudger on one and a sharpener on the other. How handy!
After lusting over the notorious 'Indian Ocean' Nail Polish for what must have been about a year now I decided Summer was the perfect time to buy it for the price of £5. It's one of those colours almost impossible to describe but I feel the name does a great job, its a gorgeous ocean-mermaid-esque colour that will look wonderful layered on top of pastel colours for the summer!
Three purchases which when added up, should have totalled £14, with the cheapest free, that came down to £10 and then with my Health Care Professional Card giving me 10% off on top of that I managed to nab them all for £9. Bargain!
Will you be making the most out of this offer?

Beautiful haul! Considering Canada is under the UK monarchy, I really wish we had more UK beauty products (and the same animal testing laws). But I think we're taking a step, I saw a little Boots sign at my drugstore.
The Lip-Stix looks lovely! Kudos on taking on such a bright and challenging colour, but I'm sure you'll rock it. c:

I've been looking for some more crayon lipsticks so might take a look at the Models Own Colour Lip Stix. I don't really mind overly scented products either so that's good :)

Thank you both. I would really recommend the Models Own Lip Stix, so much nicer than the glossier ones in my opinion, the colour is gorgeous and summery too!
