Hi-Shine is definitely the word to used here as I had awful trouble photographing this on the nails due to the incredible shine coming off of them! Anyway here it is one of the famous BarryM Gelly Hi-Shines, I picked this up in Papaya along with another one in the shade Pomegranate a few months ago when they were first released
by the looks of it they have since come out with a load more colours in even bolder and brighter shades, and if I wasn't trying to ban myself from buying any more nail varnishes I would have undoubtedly picked them up for the summer.
I love this polish range, not only are the colours fantastic, bright and out-there, They last SO long too. I've never had these chip horrendously on me and the only time I need to take them off is when I get bored and fancy a change of colour. I really like the formula it applies easily and is really opaque, though I would recommend two coats. They are unbelievably glossy, perhaps a little too glossy for me? I don't know.. maybe i'm fussy! The only real thing that bothers me about this range, and in fact Barry M in general is the ridiculous brushes. They are so thin and old fashioned, similar to the Models Own ones I was moaning about the other day.. I just feel like since Rimmel and other brands are treating us to the new wide brushes, everyone should jump on the boat, who wants to spend 4 strokes on a nail when you could have it done in one?!
Anyway aside from my brush-whinges, have a look at some photo's, excuse the slightly shoddy application. Having a very busy day today and this was done at around 7 in the morning!
I expect some of you have tried this range out, it seems to be a big hitter. What other colours would you reccomend?
